ALL PURPOSE CLEANER- Mix into spray bottle 2 cups of water, 1/4 cup of vinegar, & 1/2 teaspoon of Dawn. OR equal parts water & vinegar with a few drops of lemon juice.

FLOORS- I blogged about it HERE.

TOILET- 1/4 baking soda with 1 cup vinegar. Sit for a few minutes. Scrub & flush.

WINDOWS- Spray bottle of water with a few drops of lemon juice. OR use the same mix that is used for all purpose cleaner.

GARBAGE DISPOSAL- Cut up a lemon into small chunks. Place pieces in EMPTY ice cube tray. Fill with vinegar. Freeze. Transfer to freezer bag. Dump about 1/4  to 1/2 cup of baking soda down disposal. Followed by a few lemon/vinegar cubes. Grind!!!!!!

DISH WASHER- Run full cycle with only a cup of vinegar sitting in top rack. Then run again after sprinkling some baking soda on the bottom of inside dish washer. Remove everything & scrub!

WASHER- Fill washer, add 2 cups of vinegar. Let side for an hour. Finish cycle. When finished scrub inside & out. Fill washer again. Add 2 cups of BLEACH. ( Only time I use bleach anymore ). Also let this sit for an hour. Finish cycle. Run another full cycle with nothing added.

Also needed for spring cleaning: vacuum, mop & bucket, duster, cloths, sponges, toilet brush, & micro fiber cloths.

What do you plan on using for spring cleaning, or your daily cleaning?

  1. I want to try mixing vinegar and Dawn to make the shower cleaner that I saw on Pinterest! It's so awesome that we can clean with stuff we already have at home!

  2. Hi! I’m new follower of your blog and would like to invite you to join me at my weekly Clever Chicks Blog Hop:

I hope you can make it!
