10 Tips For The Expecting Mother.





1. It is okay to cry & get emotional. It could take months to feel normal again. Your body is out of whack, & so are your emotions. 

2. Laugh & be silly. Being a mom is fun.

3. Stand your ground. When dealing with other people that are trying to tell you what to do when it comes to raising baby, do what you want [& spouse of course]. Listen to the opinions of others, but do not feel you have to follow.

4. Baby is a blessing, remember that. No matter what is going on, just remember that.

5. If you do not have to have it, do not get it. When it comes to babies people go over board. Save money by not getting every single thing that is on the market for babies.

6. Spouse is still number one. Baby is an addition to the family that already exists. Do not forget your spouse & their feelings. 

7. Greasy hair, day old clothes, & a messy house are okay sometimes. Everything takes time to get use to. Things will get crazy, sleep will be non existent some nights.It is okay to let yourself go some days. As long as baby is loved & tended too. But just remember it feels amazing when the house is cleaned, & your showered and ready to face the day. 

8. Love. & Love some more. Time is short. Spend all the time you can with your baby & family. Make memories. 

9. Breathe. You are not super woman/mom. 

10. Baby will not always sleep through the night. So if baby does, do not brag because I promise you that you will eat your words!

  1. I am so glad this series is happening! While I dont expect to have a baby anytime soon it's going to be nice to look back on these.
