Mama's Blessed : BBQ Bean Casserole / Recipe

BBQ Bean Casserole / Recipe

Wednesday, February 4, 2015

Today is going to be a quick & easy recipe. This is perfect if you have a man in your life that requires meat DAILY! Mine does. This is super cheap as well. So that is a bonus. My toddler is obsessed with beans apparently, so this is perfect for her as well. Use it as a side or a quick main dish for busy nights. Whatever!

What you will need:

+ 1 pound ground beef or turkey
+ 1/2 cup chopped onion
+ 1/2 tsp salt
+ 1/4 tsp black pepper
+ 1/2 cup catsup
+ 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
+ 2 tbsp vinegar
+ 1/4 tsp hot sauce [ optional ]
+ 1 [ 1 pound 12 oz ] can pork & beans

Brown meat & onions. Drain if needed.

Add all remaining ingredients to it. Pour into a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Serve over rice. Or possibly mashed potatoes.

Enjoy! If you make this, let me know how you like!
